Valentin Chesneau Daumas
Born at the Cochin Hospital in the 15th district of Paris on the 30th of April 1997, I grew up in the suburbs of Paris, in Antony, next to Orly Airport. I had a photographer uncle with a passionate for aeronautics, so spending days by the runways came to me naturally. Over the years, photography, too, became a passion.
After my baccalaureate in the sciences, I decided to study photography at the Auguste Renoir School in Paris. I learned the fundamentals of photography, both technical and artistic, and did my final research project on French industrial architecture.
After stints at the Figaro newspaper and the City Hall of Paris, I obtained a professional degree in photography. Since 2017 I have been enrolled in a professional journalism program at Paris VIII University.
